Getting a Good Fit in Women's Bikini Swimwear and One Piece Swimwear

Women's swimwear can stretch up to 100% in some cases. Typically 75%, but what this really means is that the material will compress the body mass it encloses as it stretches more and more. If you stretch bikini swimwear material beyond its maximum comfort zone then unsightly bulges can result. What this means for most people is that if your hips are 41 then do not order a medium bottom. Order a large. A medium will fit but unless you have very good skin and muscle tone, then those unsightly bulges will probably result.

So it is VERY important to get proper measurements. Proper body measurement is key to a successful outcome. We'll take you through the basic measurements that the clothing industry depends on.

How To Measure: Use a cloth tape measure if possible. Note: Older flexible tape measures can sometimes stretch and distort over time.

The person being measured should be wearing his or her normal undergarments only. Measurements taken over bulky or constricting clothing will not be accurate. If you're measuring for something that will be worn only with a certain pair of shoes or a certain undergarment, it's okay to wear them during the measurement process.

Chest: To measure the chest circumference, place the tape around the fullest part of the chest or bust, under the arms. Keep the tape parallel to the floor. For chest width, measure across the widest part of the chest, beginning and ending at the point where the arm touches the body on each side.

Waist: You can find the true waist by taking a string or elastic band and tying it (parallel to the floor; snugly but not too tight) around the trunk of the person being measured. It will naturally fall to the narrowest part of the trunk. If you think the true waist area is too high, measure the circumference where you (or the person you're measuring) normally likes to wear pants or a skirt.

Hips: Measure around the body keeping tape around the largest part of the hips.

A few other tips on measuring:

 If you're rounding off your results (which is advisable), round them up to the nearest quarter-inch or half-centimeter
 Try to get someone to take the measurements for you - your posture will be more relaxed and natural. The measurements should be more accurate.
 Stand up straight and breathe normally
 Don't measure over the top of clothing
 Wear the bra you feel most comfortable in

Another consideration is, What kind of swimsuit looks best on me? What do I wear that will put emphasis on my positive features and distract from my not-so-flattering areas?

First of all, we don't put swimsuits on our bodies to make the suit look good - suits are worn to make our bodies look good - so choose one that brings out the best of YOU. Find a suit that accentuates the positives about YOUR body. How do you do that? Check out the body features and body types below and decide which best describes you. Then read which swimsuit styles flatter YOUR figure.
It's not about body size - it's about what makes YOU look and feel good about YOU. It's about making the body you have look its best. It's not about size either - don't be alarmed if your swimsuit is a size larger than your clothing size - that's usually the case for everyone.

FULL BOTTOM: (Hips & thighs are larger than the bust)
BEST STYLE: Skirted suits and strapless styles. Eye-catching tops draw attention upward.

FULL BUSTED: (Broad or large in bust area)
BEST STYLE: Higher neckline or built-in bra for support. Tankinis are ideal. Halters also work well; they support, hold up bust & flatter your figure.

FULL CENTER: (Round figure, not much definition to the figure)
BEST STYLE: Bottoms should have high cut legs; will make you look longer, leaner. Enhancing bust with underwire or padded top will make your waist look smaller giving the illusion of more of an hour glass. Vertical lines or shapes that angel up or down also lengthen the body.

HOUR GLASS: (Shapely, small waist, larger hips & bust)
BEST STYLE: You are one of the few fortunate ones. You have a
variety of choices. Most anything looks good on you.

LONG & SLENDER: (Curveless)
BEST STYLE: Florals, prints and stripes give the illusion of curves.

SMALL BUST: Petite or muscular chests
BEST STYLE: Tops with underwire & padding offer a Cleavage look. Sweetheart, V-neck or scoop necklines enhance the bust line also.

LARGE STOMACH: Rounded or protruding upper and/or lower abdomen

Health care costs have risen dramatically over the past decade, often at a rate two or three times that of inflation. What is Medicaid?

Medicaid is a health insurance program funded and managed by both state and federal governments. Medicaid offers medical treatment, including nursing home care, for low-income individuals who are 65 or older, blind or disabled. Payment is made directly to the health care provider.

Medicaid Eligibility

To qualify for Medicaid certain requirements must be met. These may include your age, income and other assets (anything that can be sold for cash) and whether you are a U.S. citizen or a lawfully admitted immigrant. One of the ways you can protect your assets from being considered a liability against Medicaid approval is to prepay your funeral. This must be done properly in order to be legally binding. Up to a legally determined amount, most Medicaid agencies exclude these funds when determining eligibility. This process ensures that you have the money you need for the remembrance that you want. Currency Exchange: How This May Affect Your Spanish Property Purchase

Currency market update 27th April 2006

Sterling hit a 3-week low against a strong euro and held steady against the dollar after data showed British house prices barely budged in April following a jump in March.

The Nationwide Building Society said prices were up only 0.1 percent in April, after a 1.1 percent rise the month before, taking the average price of a British home to 163,573 pounds in seasonally adjusted terms.

The annual rate dropped back to 4.8 percent in April from a 10-month high of 5.3 percent in March.

The data was a bit below expectations but I think the uptrend in UK housing prices is still there, said Kris Bernie, market economist at National Australia Bank.

The Nationwide predicted property price growth would probably slow further over the rest of 2006.

By 0729 GMT, sterling was steady against the dollar at $1.7850. The pound hit a three week low against the euro at 69.81 pence before recovering slightly to 69.73 pence.

The euro has been riding high this week, hitting a 7-month peak against the dollar.

Seven Simple Steps to get into a Fitness Routine

1. See Your Doctor: Before you start any exercise program or begin any
sport or hobby that involves physical exertion, get a check up.

2. Sleep: Get enough sleep every night. This is especially
important if you decide to exercise in the morning. If you

3. Set Goals: What are you trying to achieve out of your

so darn boring... I've found that a daily walk will keep me

5. Schedule: Set aside 30 minutes, 3 times a week for exercise.

6. Slow and Steady wins the race: don't try to do every
exercise you know on the first day, too much too fast and
you will crack under the pressure. Start slowly and build
up to an exercise routine that fits your lifestyle.

Many people either do or do not set goals for themselves. Some people have no idea how to set goals.

So, let's look at the difference between resolutions and goals.

Webster's New World Compact School and Office Dictionary copyright 1994, offers these definitions:

~~ Resolution-1 the act or result of resolving something 2 a thing determined upon; decision as to future action 3 a resolute quality of mind 4 a formal statement of opinion or determination by an assembly, etc.

~~ Goal-1 the place at which a race, trip, etc. is ended 2 an end that one strives to attain 3 in some games, a) the line or net over or into which the ball or puck must go to score b) the score made.

Notice # 2 in each definition and let's use 'losing weight' as
our example. (I use this as an example because it is the number one New Years resolution).

The statement. I'm going to lose weight this year doesn't
really have any meaning, focus, or structure.

The statement I have determined that I need to lose weight
and will walk one mile three times a week so that I can wear
the new dress/suit that is too tight.

See the difference? See how the second statement has more clarity and structure?

We have determined the problem, decided on the action we want or need to take, and what end we are striving to attain.

This is the way to focus on a problem, make a resolution, and set a goal.

I call this Goal-Resolve.

Goal-Resolve! What is this woman talking about?

Goal-Resolve: a statement that determines a problem, what action
you need to take, and to what end you want to attain.

Below is a list of the recommended traditional health tests
and exams you should have, listed with age and frequency of exams. The frequency suggested is for those of you that have no symptoms or any history of risk. Please consult with your doctor to find out if you need to be tested
more frequently.

Print out the list and place an X next to the tests or exams that you NEED to GET PERFORMED.

(The highest-risk states in the US are those in the northeast, plus Minnesota and Wisconsin)

If you have children or grandchildren, please make sure that they are getting their necessary and required shots.

Call your doctor, dentist, vision and hearing doctors today
and set up your appointments for yourself (and any loved ones) for the year.

Schedule a date with a nutritionist and make sure you are eating properly and getting the proper amount of vitamin supplements. Nutritionist in my area charge about $60 for the first visit. It was money well spent and
an amazing experience.

Talk with your doctor about exercise and what type is best
for you. It might be as simple as taking a daily walk.

If you're a business or SOHO owner, you MUST be healthy to meet the demands that confront you on a daily basis.

OverHalling your problem areas might be harder for you if you are already tired, dragging your feet, achy, sore and
don't know what's wrong. OverHalling is not easy! It will take time, commitment, energy, and strength.

Don't let getting healthy become a resolution that you break or a goal that you never accomplish. Make it a *Goal-Resolve*!

Clutter and chaos in your bedroom could be the reason you wake up with a headache, a stuffy nose, or runny eyes.

Maybe you feel stressed out, depressed, fatigued, or distracted when you wake up to all your clutter and chaos.

We spend 1/3 of our lives in our bedrooms. A place we go to to find solitude, peace of mind, and slumber. But how can you expect to get a good night sleep or to awaken with vitality and energy with all that clutter facing you?

~~ What's the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning? ~~ Is it piles of clothes, books, newspapers, and mail all over the place?
~~ Are you stepping on and tripping over stuff on your floors? ~~ Do you just want to pull the covers over your head and stay in bed rather then face all that clutter and chaos?

Let your world stop for 15 minutes and announce to the world, This is the day I'm going to make a change in my life. Jump out of bed, throw back the curtains, open the shades and windows (yes, even if it is 20 degrees outside!), turn off the news, crank up some music and do the Toss In Box!

Get a box (a garbage bag will also work) and pick up everything off the floor and do the Toss In box! (TIP: Don't stop and dawdle over any items, we'll do that later).

Feel the energy?

Hip Hop over to the dresser, bureau, makeup table, and nightstands and take everything off that you don't use daily or nightly and do the Toss
In Box!

Feel the adrenaline?

Waltz on over to your sitting area, chaise, or clothes valet and take it ALL off and do the Toss In Box!

Now, doesn't your bedroom feel better already? DON'T YOU feel better?

Grab 10 more minutes, another box, a garbage bag, your car keys and sprint out to your car. Tune into your favorite radio station and do the Toss In Box. Get rid of everything that you don't use daily (please keep your emergency equipment). Get rid of everything that you don't need. Don't forget to check under the seats, in the glove compartment,
and the trunk.

Forget about those boxes for now. Get ready for work and with a song in your heart, another box, and garbage bag zip off to work.

When you get to the office take another 10 minutes and proclaim to your co-workers that you are changing your ways. Go into your office, cubicle, or workspace and start doing the Toss In Box.

Okay, now reality starts to sit in. You still have a lot of work to do because
you have to go through ALL that STUFF! Don't panic, I'm still with you.

Decide which of your boxes is the most important box to attack first. Set a date and time that you can start sorting through ALL that STUFF.

What's that I hear, But I don't have time. You have to FIND the time. Make an appointment with yourself and keep it, just as you would go to the doctors or attend a meeting.

Decide on a reward you will give yourself when you finish sorting your box,
such as a new outfit, tickets to the theatre or ballgame, or my favorite, a
chocolate milkshake.

I've developed a technique called TEASER which will give you 11 actions you can take to help you sort through your boxes of clutter. What? Teaser only has six letters...you'll see. First yell, What is ALL this STUFF!
Get a garbage can or bag, 10 boxes and label them with the following:

Toss it
~~ It's not yours, you don't know who it belongs to, it's outdated, it can't
be repaired, you don't need it. End it
~~ You don't want it, you want to cancel it, or you don't read it. Act on it
~~ Needs an action, such as your signature, phone call, or immediate attention.
Store it
~~ This will have three boxes: Current Stuff, Things I need to Reference, and Historical Stuff.
Enter it
~~ Information you need to enter into your planner or computer. Refer/Recycle/Read it/Repair ~~ It belongs to someone else or you think they need it. ~~ Use it again or put into a recycling bin. ~~ Something you want/need to read. ~~ Something that can be fixed.

Be ruthless, determined, and honest and start sorting ALL your STUFF by using the TEASER.

Your next step to take is to schedule a date and time (don't forget your reward)
to act on the items that you sorted.

~~ Call, write, or email the items you want to END or stop from coming into
your life.
~~ Decide how and where you will STORE your current, reference, and historical papers or 'stuff'. ~~ Sit and ENTER all your information. ~~ Pack up and take items that you are REFERRING to someone else, RECYCLING, or taking to get REPAIRED. ~~ Put READING material in area you like to sit and read and create a TO GO reading folder to take with you whenever you leave the home or office.

Congratulations! You have taken the first steps to overhalling your home,

Nursing Entrance Test An Introduction

One of the biggest hurtles that aspiring nursing school students must face is the Nursing Entrance Test. This is a nationally standardized test that is administered prior to placing students on the long waiting list for nursing school. Even if the student has passed all the prerequisites required for admission, such as anatomy and physiology, English 131 and 132, Sociology, Pharmacology, and Chemistry, this doesn't guarantee admission to nursing school.

Most RN as well as LVN/LPN nursing schools are now requiring an entrance exam. The most popular is the NET, or Nursing Entrance Test. It is a computer-based test which consists of seven parts. These include:

* math skills (from basics through algebra)

* reading comprehension (at the 10th grade level) for science textbooks

* a reading rate exam

* an evaluation of test-taking skills

* a stress level profile

* a social interaction profile

* learning style evaluation

Although there are required passing grades, of a C at the least, the Nursing Entrance Test must be passed in order to be put on the list for admission to nursing school. This is by far the most nerve racking test that students must face. The main reason for this anxiety is that many students have come into the test either unprepared or just overconfident. Unfortunately, the preparatory literature that is currently available does not do complete justice to covering all that is necessary for the Nursing Entrance Test.

Most schools require at least a score of 50 on the math and reading comprehension sections. Students must be able to comprehend science textbooks which are written at a 10th grade reading level. This is considered to be the orm for adult reading levels for college applicants. Algebra is essential for medication calculations. The two combined give a good indication of the ability to use critical thinking skills which are essential to RN programs.

If you're a prospective nursing student still in high school, you can do a number of things to prepare yourself. First, talk to your school guidance counselor. Some students have never learned math skills efficiently enough to be able to apply them in a test setting. The key to remedy much of this stress is to provide those students that are going to be taking the test with materials that will prepare them for exactly what to expect in the same method that the test is administered.

There is another level of stress that has been added to the test recently. That is, that the student is now only allowed to fail up to three times. After which, the student can no longer enroll in the nursing program at that particular school. For instance, Henry Ford Community College has now adopted this rule. This is very annoying and frustrating to those students who have taken all of their prerequisites and are on their last chance. They are faced with having to transfer their credits to another nursing school program and take the test again at another school. This prolongs their admission to nursing school which is usually a two to three year wait at the minimum. Some students have opted to take a refresher math course. However, this is in no way a guarantee that they will pass the Nursing Entrance Test. Much of the math in a remedial math course is not sufficient to pass the Nursing Entrance Test.

Too much training is boring. Too much training barely raises itself above level one in Kirkpatrick's four levels of training evaluation. That is, the reaction of students; what they thought and felt about the training. Too much training ignores the learning needs of the participants. Too much corporate training spending is wasted.

Adults have some simple requirements as learners. They have an expectation of being treated as an adult with respect shown for their experience and knowledge of the training topic. Even if they cannot describe what they know in the theoretical terms they are about to learn they still want their experience acknowledged. They have a need to share that experience with others.

Above all, adults have a desire to be active participants in the learning process. They, of course, abhor boring day long presentations where presenters ask for and receive no interaction from the participants. However, they also tend to dislike good interactive presentations which give no scope for learning through experience.

Unfortunately, what adults also have is a predilection that training must somehow be painful and difficult. The old, o pain, no gain, adage of physical training seems to transfer to corporate learning. They believe that training whilst being lively and fast moving cannot equate to fun.

For games to be effective, they must be related to the workplace by providing knowledge, reinforcing attitudes, and initiating action that is important to job success.
